Read this blog if you are interested in buying a property in Naples, Florida.
Naples is much more than a tropical city on the Gulf. From nature
adventures to shopping we have something attractive for every age
and taste. The perfect place to live, play, enjoy and
relax. More than just the beach is within your reach in the
tropical homes of Naples.
A short drive from Naples is the former Collier County seat,
Everglades City. Here you'll find an authentic Old Florida
experience at the 140-year old Rod & Gun Club Lodge, where the
miracles of taxidermy in the lobby announce that this was and is the
place for serious hunters and fishermen. Make sure to visit the
Museum of the Everglades, with an exhibit that shows how Barron
Collier set out to make a modern, planned city out of this slice of
independent wilderness.
Then make the easy drive through the tropics to Chokoloskee
Island, once a trading post for the local pioneers. The stilted
building that is Ted Smallwood's store, immortalized in the novel
Killing Mr. Watson, serves as a living museum from the tougher times
of old Florida.
Think Naples; think tropical Gulf of
Mexico and the beach home in a tropical paradise that you’ve dreamed
about. A little known fact is that just as important to the
development of the city was the mysterious and dark mangrove-lined
Gordon River, still a lesser-known and wholly fascinating body of
water.
From the Conservancy of Southwest Florida's Naples Nature Center,
you can take a short guided boat trip down the Gordon River and see
Naples from a whole new perspective. Tours run seven days a week
during winter, with boats departing regularly throughout the day,
and six days a week in summer.
Beautiful Sunsets. Time with Those You Love. There's never been a
better time to make The Tropical Florida Coast a place called
home.
